This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major international development program, influencing design decisions early in the lifecycle from a PHUMS perspective. As a Prognostics, Health and Usage Monitoring (PHUMS) Engineer, you will be working with customers and suppliers to define the requirements and specifications for PHUMS, applying the latest engineering standards and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with an international team to develop PHUMS engineering solutions, providing input to a fast-paced, complex program.
  • Engage with customer and industry subject matter experts to elicit, understand, and capture user and system requirements for PHUM systems.
  • Contribute to the development of concepts and philosophies for how PHUMS will be implemented, managed, and delivered end-to-end.
  • Support the design, development, and specification of PHUMS requirements, overseeing implementation and mobilisation as the program transitions to the in-service phase.
  • Help develop strategies and plans throughout the lifecycle for the implementation of the PHUMS solution.
  • Ensure PHUMS integration with other product and service areas, such as IT, digital, and physical infrastructure, and interfaces with the air platform.
Requirements:
  • HND Level 5 or Degree in a relevant engineering field (or demonstrable professional experience in similar roles).
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g. MooD, CAMEO, SysML, MagicGrid).
