We are looking for a qualified Social Worker with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in frontline child protection to lead our Multi-Agency Child Protection Team as a Lead Child Protection Practitioner.

About the Job

In this role, you will use your skills and experience to identify and assess risk, make child protection decisions, and guide families through the process with a supportive and collaborative approach.

You will work closely with the Family Help Lead Practitioner and provide consultation, oversight, and supervision relating to child protection decision making across the team.

Requirements
  • A proven track record of working in frontline child protection.
  • Ability to make decisions independently, manage risks, and oversee high-risk cases.
  • Collaborative approach, working effectively with other agencies to deliver high-quality support for children and their families.
What We Offer

A salary of £45,000 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working options, generous annual leave entitlement, and access to a benefits and discounts platform.

We offer a generous pension scheme, with an employer contribution rate of typically around 19 percent per month.
