Assistant Store Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Assistant Store Manager to join our team at YMCA England & Wales. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in the success of our charity shop, working closely with the Store Manager to maximize income and promote the work of YMCA within the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop, including merchandising, stock rotation, and customer service.
  • Deputize for the Store Manager when needed, taking on additional responsibilities and leading the team to achieve sales targets.
  • Work effectively and efficiently to maximize income for the shop, promoting the work of YMCA and engaging with customers to build relationships and drive sales.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store strategies, working collaboratively with the Store Manager and Area Manager to achieve business objectives.
