Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients, enabling them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out care calls to a high standard, building strong relationships with clients and their families.
- Conduct client Quality Assurance visits to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
- Create, update, and audit client care plans, working closely with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Maintain accurate records of client and care professional interactions on our Home Instead software.
- Conduct client and care professional introductions, ensuring a smooth transition into our care services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Support and mentor care professionals to ensure they have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional care.
- Provide support to the Client Experience team, working collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and care professionals, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Participate in on-call duties as required, providing 24/7 support to our clients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Requirements:
- Full driving license and means of transport to visit clients.
- Experience in the care sector, delivering a wide range of personal care services.
- Experience of working with Medication Administration Record sheets and medication.
- Passion for delivering high-quality care to our clients, enabling them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality, working within current legislation.
