Care Workers at Hatched Recruitment Group are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join their team as a Support Worker for adults with severe learning disabilities and complex care needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a passion for delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities.

About the Role:

  • Provide 24-hour support to adults with severe learning disabilities and complex care needs.
  • Offer personal care to residents in a respectful, dignified, and non-judgmental manner.
  • Support residents in accessing and participating in community-based activities.
  • Participate in sleeping-in duty, waking night duties, and work at evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
  • Assume responsibility for the ongoing management of the establishment in the absence of supervisory staff.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of six months' experience working directly with adults with learning disabilities.
  • NVQ3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to promote independence, meet physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
