Educating and caring for young adults with SEND is a rewarding career that requires dedication and passion. As a Support Worker for Young Adults, you will be part of our Empowering Learning team in Enfield, working closely with students, staff, and families to provide exceptional support and guidance.

Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting students with their daily routines, educational programs, and social interactions. This includes assisting with personal care, utilizing PECS or Makaton communication methods, and fostering excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Availability 5 days a week, committing to at least 6 months

We offer a competitive salary (£24,000 - £30,000 per annum), term-time only hours, and the chance to gain valuable experience working with individuals with SEND.
