Job Title: Lead Learning Disabilities Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Lead Learning Disabilities Psychologist to join our team at All Saints Hospital in Oldham. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Lead Learning Disabilities Psychologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and formulating service users with complex needs
  • Designing and delivering specialist psychological treatment within mental health care services
  • Leading the psychology department in providing a variety of therapeutic approaches to service users
  • Providing guidance, support, and supervision to junior team members
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of service user care pathways

Requirements:
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society
  • Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualification in applied psychology
  • Competence in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with service users
  • Ability to identify and proactively resolve problems and challenges within the service
  • Ability to supervise junior members of the team
