About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Learning Disabilities Psychologist to join our team at All Saints Hospital in Oldham. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological services to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate treatment plans for service users with complex needs
  • Design and deliver specialist psychological interventions, including CBT, EMDR, and DBT
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the team
  • Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care pathways
Requirements
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society
  • Doctorate level qualification in applied psychology
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including those with deafness or complex communication needs
  • Competency in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with service users
  • Ability to identify and proactively resolve problems and challenges within the service
