About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Psychologist to join our team at All Saints Hospital in Oldham. As a Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with complex mental health needs.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based interventions, and provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to deliver high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Supervise and guide junior staff members to ensure high-quality care is delivered
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice in mental health care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service user outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Charterable status with the British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • Doctorate-level qualification in applied psychology
  • Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Strong clinical leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
