About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our Health Club team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the building, ensuring all facilities are secure and ready for the next day
  • Conducting daily cleaning and maintenance checks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to member queries and resolving any issues promptly
  • Sales activities, including conducting tours and service calls to promote our facilities and services
  • Member gym inductions and fitness assistance, ensuring all members feel welcome and supported
  • Pool management and maintenance checks, ensuring the pool area is safe and clean

Requirements

  • A passion for the leisure industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience of problem-solving, customer service, and staff management
  • Experience working in the leisure industry, with a strong understanding of our business model and values
  • Fitness Level 2 qualification, or currently working towards
  • RLSS National pool qualification, desirable as training can be provided
  • Pool Plant qualification, desirable as training can be provided
