About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Wealden Leisure Limited. As a key member of our Health Club team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Club Operations**: Oversee the daily opening and closing of the club, ensuring all facilities are secure and ready for use.
  • **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • **Front of House**: Manage the front desk, handling bookings, cash transactions, and sales activities.
  • **Pool Management**: Supervise pool operations, ensuring water quality, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
  • **Team Leadership**: Support and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • **Industry Experience**: Proven experience in the leisure industry, with a strong understanding of club operations and customer service principles.
  • **Leadership Skills**: Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • **Problem-Solving**: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • **Qualifications**: Relevant qualifications, such as a Fitness Level 2 certification, RLSS National Pool Qualification, or Pool Plant Qualification.
