About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Freedom Leisure's Health Club in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the club, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Opening and closing the club, ensuring all facilities are secure and ready for the next day
  • Conducting cleaning and maintenance checks to ensure the club meets our high standards
  • Providing front-of-house services, including bookings, cash management, and sales activities
  • Delivering member gym inductions and fitness assistance, promoting our services and driving sales
  • Managing pool operations, including maintenance checks and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our members
Requirements
  • A passion for the leisure industry, with a commitment to continuous professional development
  • Experience in problem-solving, customer service, and staff management
  • Previous experience working in the leisure industry, with a strong understanding of our business model
  • Fitness Level 2 qualification, or currently working towards
  • RLSS National pool qualification, desirable as training can be provided
  • Pool Plant qualification, desirable as training can be provided
