About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Child Care Specialist to join our team in Wigan. As a Fostering Team member, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and supervision to foster carers. Your key responsibilities will include supporting social workers with their caseloads, conducting recruitment and assessment of new foster carers, and providing training to foster carers.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting social workers with caseload management
- Conducting recruitment and assessment of new foster carers
- Providing training to foster carers
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or related field
- Experience working with vulnerable children and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
