About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Child Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Crisis Care Specialist. This role is instrumental in delivering community-based assessment, de-escalation, and risk reduction interventions for children and young people in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to children and families through intensive support and psychotherapeutic interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery and minimize the need for inpatient care.
  • Support CYP in managing crisis and promoting resilience through containment and care during periods of high expressed emotion.
Requirements
  • Core profession with current recognized registration (nursing/social worker/OT).
  • CAMHS experience and specialist qualification in additional therapy (CBT/DBT/Family) desirable.
  • Evidence of managing risk and experience working in the community essential.
Benefits
  • Salary: £38,890 - £43,041 per annum.
