Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £32-£42 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to this, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Job Description

This role requires a qualified social worker with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a children's social work team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring that adopted children and their adoptive families receive appropriate assessments to identify needs
  2. Developing and delivering support services to meet the needs of adopted children and their families
  3. Working with social workers and other professionals to ensure the delivery of interventions and support to adopted children, their adoptive families, and birth relatives as necessary
  4. Leading the development of responsive adoption support, including therapeutic interventions
  5. Assisting in the delivery of a training programme for staff and adoptive families
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a DipSW or equivalent qualification, be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
