Specialist Housing First Support Worker

About the Role
Housing First is a client-led approach that prioritizes meeting individuals where they are at. As a Specialist Housing First Support Worker, you will work alongside a wider team to provide one-to-one intensive support to clients in their homes and within the community.
Your responsibilities will include managing a small caseload of up to 7 clients, providing them with tailored support that addresses their unique needs and challenges. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partner agencies and the local authority.
About You
- You will have a strong understanding of the core principles of the Housing First Model and be able to apply them in a practical setting.
- You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport with clients and stakeholders alike.
- You will have a passion for supporting highly vulnerable adults and be committed to ensuring that they receive the support they need to achieve positive outcomes.
- You will have a good working knowledge of housing and the current welfare system, as well as the ability to navigate complex systems and processes.

What We Offer
- A competitive salary and benefits package, including a salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period.
- A 37.5 hour working week, including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am – 4pm) in non-accommodation services.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing annually to the maximum 30 days (plus paid Bank Holidays).
