Grant Development Manager Job Summary:

Our client, the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), is seeking a skilled Grant Development Manager to join their fundraising team. This 12-month fixed-term contract will cover maternity leave and provide an exciting opportunity for someone to develop their skills in grant development and fundraising.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an action plan for medium to high value trust and grant fundraising bids, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Senior Trusts and Company Giving Fundraiser.

This role involves building and developing relationships with potential and strategically important grant and trust bodies, maintaining and delivering a schedule of applications and reporting to grant makers. The post holder will also work across departments to help develop creative projects for funders that include well-balanced and reasoned budgets.

We are looking for someone who is a great communicator, proactive, and motivated, with evidence of establishing relationships with funders. The ideal candidate will have high levels of literacy and numeracy, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The salary for this role is approximately £38,000 per annum, based on a part-time contract of 21 hours per week.
