Special Educational Needs Coordinator

We are seeking an accomplished Primary SENCo to join our dynamic one-form entry school in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. As a key member of the Wayman Group team, you will lead the way in designing and implementing effective strategies to support the learning and development of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Inclusive Learning Environments: Create and maintain inclusive learning environments that cater to diverse student needs.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to support the learning and development of children with special educational needs.
- Parental Engagement: Foster strong partnerships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and offering guidance on supporting learning at home.
- Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and support for staff to enhance understanding of special educational needs and foster a culture of inclusivity.
- SEN Provision Impact: Regularly assess the impact of SEN provision, collecting and analyzing data to inform decisions and improve support services.
- SEN Leadership: Assume a leadership role within the school, advocating for students' rights and championing inclusive practices.
The salary for this position is between £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a SEN allowance and TLR.
