About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at EnerMech. As a leading specialist engineering services company, we deliver integrated solutions for complex energy and infrastructure projects and operate assets globally.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Aberdeen, offering 37.5 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime and an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate electrical duties on site, ensuring all areas have had periodic inspections carried out at regular intervals by a 3rd registered contractor.
  • Carry out routine maintenance on our 16-acre facility, both proactive and reactive.
  • Liaise with suppliers for quoting and purchasing materials and spares for work activities within your workload.
  • Participate in regular review and updating of procedures and risk assessments to ensure all work-scopes are carried out in the safest, most efficient, and cost-effective manner possible.
  • Have the opportunity to be put through the COMPEX certificate (if not already held) and take on further responsibilities, including carrying out COMPEX inspections, maintenance, installations, and repairs on EnerMech equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will hold a time-served Electrical apprenticeship and have previous experience in repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems. You will also have good knowledge and understanding of industry and regulatory equipment test and inspection requirements. Basic IT skills are essential.

This is a predominantly standalone role, and successful applicants will have previous demonstrable organizational skills as well as the ability to work on their own initiative.
