Position Overview

Red The Consultancy (Europe) Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to enhance our operational team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of various electrical systems and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Testing: Conduct regular maintenance and testing of electrical systems and equipment, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify and rectify faults in electrical systems and machinery, whether at company facilities or client locations as necessary.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by performing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Component Evaluation: Assess the condition of electrical components, ensuring replacements and installations meet specified guidelines.
  • Documentation: Generate detailed reports on maintenance activities, including testing, repairs, and replacements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and signed off.
  • Certification: Prepare and verify certification for equipment, ensuring all details are correct and compliant with standards.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate repair timelines and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance strategies in line with company procedures.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to junior staff and trainees, fostering their development in line with the company’s Competence Assurance Programme.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all electrical systems comply with national safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized Trade Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and Maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience in the disassembly, inspection, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment.
  • Familiarity with various electrical fittings and components.
  • Preferred certifications: COMPEX and PAT Testing.
