Position Overview
Our client, Red - Specialist Recruitment, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The selected individual will be tasked with the upkeep and servicing of diverse electrical apparatus and installations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and perform risk assessments to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Diagnose faults and execute repairs on electrical systems, whether at company facilities or client locations as necessary.
  • Generate detailed reports documenting the condition and maintenance of components, ensuring all records are accurate and signed off.
  • Oversee the commissioning and recertification of electrical systems, adhering to established specifications and protocols.
  • Engage in preventative maintenance activities in accordance with organizational procedures.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and trainees, fostering their professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A recognized Trade Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and Maintenance is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems, with the capability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience in the disassembly, evaluation, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Proficiency in identifying various electrical components and assessing their condition.
  • Preferred certifications include COMPEX and PAT Testing.
