The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to work onshore at our base facility in Aberdeen on a permanent basis. This role is full-time, offering 37.5 hours per week, with a salaried position, opportunity for overtime, and an excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate electrical duties on site, ensuring all areas have had periodic inspections carried out at regular intervals by a 3rd registered contractor.
- Carry out routine maintenance on our 16-acre facility, both proactive and reactive.
- Liaise with suppliers for quoting and purchasing materials and spares for work activities within your workload.
- Take part in regular review and updating of procedures and risk assessments to ensure that all work-scopes are carried out in the safest, most efficient, and cost-effective manner possible.
- Participate in the COMPEX certificate program (if not already certified) and take on further responsibilities, including carrying out COMPEX inspections, maintenance, installations, and repairs on EnerMech equipment.
Requirements
- Hold a time-served Electrical apprenticeship and have previous experience in repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Have good knowledge and understanding of industry and regulatory equipment test and inspection requirements.
- Basic IT skills are essential.
- Demonstrate previous organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
