Job Description

Job Title: Casework Support Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Casework Support Officer to join our Refugee Resettlement and Migration Service team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting relocated families through our transformative programs, ensuring a seamless transition to their new life in Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide casework support to Afghan and UKRS families under the Managed Resettlement Stream, prioritizing access to public services and supporting families towards independence and integration.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of public sector services and provide empathetic support to new arrivals in the UK.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance the resettlement and integration experience for our clients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that promote successful resettlement and integration outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of public sector services and the needs of new arrivals in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Profound respect for diverse cultures and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
