Job Description

Job Title: Casework Support Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Casework Support Officer to join our Refugee Resettlement and Migration Service team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting relocated families through our transformative programs, ensuring a seamless transition to their new life in Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide casework support to Afghan and UKRS families under the Managed Resettlement Stream, prioritizing access to public services and supporting families towards independence and integration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and service providers to ensure a comprehensive support network for our clients.
  • Conduct needs assessments, create personalized support plans, and monitor progress to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and address any barriers to integration, providing solutions and recommendations to improve our services.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and best practices in refugee resettlement and migration, applying this knowledge to inform your work and improve our services.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of public sector services and the needs of new arrivals in the UK.
  • Empathy and a profound respect for diverse cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
