Sanctuary Supported Living is excited to announce openings for Support Specialists within our CQC Registered Learning and Physical Disabilities Service.

Key Responsibilities of the Support Specialist:

• Provide assistance to help our clients with various learning and physical disabilities to reach their full potential and enhance their independence.


• Deliver individualized support as needed.

• Ensure safety by conducting risk assessments and evaluating clients' requirements.

• Regularly review clients' needs, creating and updating support plans as necessary.

• Build professional relationships with clients, utilizing clear and appropriate communication to uphold their personal choice, privacy, and dignity.

• Facilitate small group activities aimed at promoting recovery and well-being.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working with adults with physical or learning disabilities or complex needs.


• Ability to connect and empathize with individuals facing physical or learning challenges.

• Capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.

• Experience in developing and maintaining precise records and support plans.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and online communication tools.

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
