Job Description

Job Title: IT Application Support Specialist

Peaple Talent is partnering with a leading security system company to find an IT Application Support and Deployment Technician.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT support principles and excellent customer service skills.

The Role:

You will be primarily responsible for providing first-line triage and resolution of user-reported issues, working on-site and tasked with the following:

  • Previous experience in IT remote phone support
  • Support desk experience
  • Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL
  • Experience in fault diagnosis of networking hardware
  • Experience in supporting Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems
  • Experience of hardware assembly, e.g., servers and workstations
  • Experience of Linux OS and containers

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with Microsoft, Office 365, and preferably work in IT support. You will also need a background in working with Windows 10 in a corporate environment and experience with hardware products.

Additionally, experience with Microsoft 365 is essential.

The Package:

Basic salary: £26,000 per annum
