Apprenticeships Administration Officer - The Role:
Are you passionate about education and construction? Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Apprenticeships Administration Officer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will support the seamless operation of our apprenticeship programs in the construction sector, ensuring that apprentices achieve their potential and employers receive the skilled workforce they need.
Apprenticeships Administration Officer - Key Responsibilities:
- Apprenticeship Referral and Enrolment: Assist in the smooth referral and enrolment process for new apprentices.
- Employer and Apprentice Liaison: Reach out to new employers and apprentices promptly to facilitate enrolment and sign-up.
- Functional Skills Coordination: Identify apprentices needing Functional Skills training, schedule exams, organise dates, and communicate results to employers and students.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong, positive relationships with employers in the construction industry.
- Apprentice Administration: Manage the administration of approximately 485 apprentices in Construction Building Services and Craft areas.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with the Construction curriculum team, supporting the Head of Department and Apprenticeship Manager.
- End Point Assessments: Schedule and confirm End Point Assessment dates and communicate successful results to apprentices and employers.
Apprenticeships Administration Officer - You:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Educational Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent. A level 3 Business Administration qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in the education sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Organisational Skills: Strong ability to organise tasks efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated with a positive attitude, empathetic, and understanding.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
