About the Role

Colas Rail UK is seeking a skilled and motivated OTM Driver/Fitter/Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of on-track machines (OTMs) in accordance with railway standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate OTMs in a safe and competent manner, adhering to railway standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on OTMs, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of railway infrastructure, including tracks, signals, and other equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid OTM operating license.
  • Experience in railway maintenance and repair.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
