Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Credit Specialist to join our team at Bank ABC. As a key member of our credit risk management department, you will be responsible for providing quality recommendations on credit applications for both FIs and Corporates clients.

In this role, you will assess the credit risk and financial strength of firms' borrowers and counterparts by performing fundamental credit analysis using both quantitative and qualitative factors. You will also review lending underwriting transactions, determine risk appetite, and credit ratings, while developing an independent view of cash flow projections and key documentation protection.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant corporate credit experience, including commodity finance and real estate, as well as exposure to Islamic finance products. A good understanding of GCC and MENA markets, including economic sectors, macroeconomic factors, and related country risks, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include assessing trade finance proposals, receivable/payable financing, and monitoring the portfolio to identify trends and risks. The successful candidate will produce high-quality reports relating to RLU area on time, adhere to IFRS9 guidelines, and perform climate risk assessments.
