About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team at Macfarlane Packaging. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the seamless progression of orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Handle customer queries and orders with exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
  • Sales Administration: Process all sales administration and customer orders accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner, utilizing the relevant systems.
  • Account Development: Proactively develop existing accounts by identifying and seizing opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling across the product portfolio.
  • Outbound Activity: Undertake outbound activity to help identify and target new customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with and support the external sales team.
  • Order Management: Administration of sales orders/quotations, ensuring customer delivery dates are met.
  • CRM System: Regular use of internal CRM system.
  • Department Liaison: Closely liaise with internal departments such as logistics and procurement.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced internal sales person who can demonstrate a good track-record of success in a similarly fast-paced position. You will need to have a first-class telephone manner, strong administration skills, and be commercially aware and target-driven. Packaging industry experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
