Job Overview
At Digitas, we're seeking an accomplished Senior Associate of Human Resources to join our Birmingham office team. This role is designed for an innovative and forward-thinking professional who can drive cultural transformation and talent development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a focus on fostering a high-performing work environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing HR-driven programs to enhance our company culture and employee growth opportunities
- Collaborating with the national HR team on ad hoc projects to promote a high-performance culture
- Leading employee onboarding processes, including orientation and program enhancements
- Ensuring day-to-day HR program management and routine maintenance, including HRIS systems and regulatory compliance
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and company policies
- Providing exceptional support to employees through timely and thorough responses to inquiries and concerns
- Partnering with managers to engage and retain top talent
- Communicating benefits and policy changes with centralized teams
- Supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Managing miscellaneous HR administrative processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (desirable)
- 2-3 years of human resources experience
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong focus on corporate needs, customer satisfaction, and quality orientation
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Strong understanding of HR, legal, and labor issues
- Solid understanding of performance management and compensation principles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office
