Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join our team in West Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults diagnosed with ADHD and/or autism, providing high-quality care and support. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in a professional specialism, such as nursing or social work, and be registered with the appropriate professional body.

The Adult ADHD Service offers diagnostic assessment and treatment of ADHD, while the West Wales Integrated Autism Service provides diagnostic assessment of autism in adults who do not meet eligibility criteria for statutory services. The service also offers time-limited support and professional consultation with various stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with neurodivergent individuals, their families, and carers to identify and address support needs. You will also be involved in multi-agency partnership working and promoting collaborative practice with various partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic assessment and treatment of adults with ADHD
  • Diagnostic assessment of autism in adults
  • Time-limited support and professional consultation with various stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in a professional specialism (e.g., nursing or social work)
  • Registered member of a professional body
  • Post-registration qualification or equivalent experience to post-graduate diploma level
  • Demonstrated understanding of national and local policy related to neuro-divergence
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records, data, and reports

Pay Rate: £38,692 - £44,886 per annum.
