Job Summary

The Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join their team in West Wales. This exciting opportunity involves working with adults and children diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, providing diagnostic assessments, and supporting individuals with complex needs.

About the Role

This position requires a professional registrant with relevant experience in neurodevelopmental conditions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving the lives of neurodivergent individuals and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, partners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide diagnostic assessments and interventions for adults and children with ADHD and Autism.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • To maintain accurate records, data, and reports as required.
  • To stay up-to-date with national and local policies related to neuro-divergence.
  • To develop and deliver training packages to promote knowledge and understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions.

Requirements

  • Degree in professional specialism (Nursing/Allied Health Professional/Social Worker).
  • Registered member of Professional Body.
  • Post-registration qualification or demonstrates equivalent experience to post-graduate diploma level.
  • Experience of working with adults and/or children diagnosed with ADHD and/or Autism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also benefit from a comprehensive training program, opportunities for career progression, and a supportive work environment.
