Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is committed to helping young people and adults achieve their potential by providing high-quality careers guidance and coaching services. We are now recruiting a Workforce Development Professional to join our team.

As a Workforce Development Professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support the career development of young people and adults across Wales. This will involve working with a range of customer groups, including those who are both long and short-term unemployed, economically inactive, people with health and disability barriers, and those seeking to change their careers.

You will work in partnership with local and national organisations, including training providers, jobcentre plus, prisons, youth offending teams, employers, and other professional organisations to support your customers into education, training, and sustained employment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective workforce development strategies to support the career development of young people and adults
  • Working with a range of tools and skills, including digital technologies, to support the work you do with clients
  • Establishing effective relationships with teachers, parents, and other learning providers to ensure that young people receive the best possible guidance and support

We offer a competitive salary of £29,500 - £30,708 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent terms and conditions.

If you have a background in education or training, or experience working with diverse client groups, we would particularly welcome your application. You should also be educated to degree level or equivalent standard and hold a QCF Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development (or equivalent).
