About the Role:

The NHS invites applications from skilled Occupational Therapy Leads to fill a key position in their team. As a member of the clinical leadership team, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people with complex needs.

You will lead a team of occupational therapists in providing evidence-based therapies, developing new programs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Main Duties:

  1. Manage a caseload of complex cases and provide guidance to junior staff members
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with local schools and community organizations to promote interagency working
  3. Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to occupational therapy practice
  4. Participate in educational activities and presentations to enhance professional development
  5. Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Professional registration as recognized by HPC
  • Evidence of leadership training and experience
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs

Salary and Benefits:

This part-time role offers a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience, along with flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional growth and development.
