About the Role:

The Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to fill the position of Clinical Lead in their specialist service for children and young people with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join a new and evolving area of practice, working closely with the multidisciplinary team within the ARFID service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry a complex caseload, working in clinic, education, and home environments
  • Liaise closely with the MDT within the ARFID service and other occupational therapists supporting children and young people
  • Negotiate service development and improve clinical practice through professional networks across Wales and the UK
  • Offer training and support to the wider Occupational Therapy Service for Children and Young People, supervise staff, and provide clinical placements
