About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Manager to join our team at Ibstock Brick. As a Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing our brand with Infrastructure and Flooring customers, while also supporting the successful delivery of our attendance at industry trade shows and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the Marketing owner for our Infrastructure and large precast specialist business
  • Work with Commercial contacts, Marketing Channel Leads and owners for other products to establish a clear comms plan
  • Play a key role in the successful delivery of Ibstock attendance at industry trade shows and exhibitions
  • Establish an efficient process for commercial teams to self-serve for smaller trade days and exhibitions
  • Work with Group Specification & Futures Marketing Channel Lead to develop and deliver planned events and activities at our I-Studio
  • Maximise pre & post-event marketing opportunities both internally and externally
  • Work with Channel Marketing Leads and Sales Directors to review incoming tactical marketing activity requests and agree approval or rejection
  • Liaise with relevant marketing owner to ensure delivery of approved tactical marketing requests within agreed timescale and budget parameters

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing, ideally within B2B environment
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement
  • Proven ability to manage a large workload and focused on delivering the plan
  • Analytical - comfortable with numbers and interpreting data/metrics
  • Creative
  • Knowledge and understanding of insight gathering
  • Experience of budget management
  • Knowledge of the UK construction industry/routes to maker and/or a professional Marketing qualification (i.e. CIM) would be advantageous in this role, but not essential
