About the Role

Nexxus Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated care assistant to join our team at Meadowyrthe Residential Home in Tamworth. As a care assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support services to residents with dementia.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus benefits. No experience necessary as full training will be provided. Full-time and part-time contracts are available, working on a 4-week rolling rota.

The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, such as washing, dressing, toileting, and administering medication. You will also support residents during mealtimes, ensuring their dietary needs are met and recorded if needed. A key aspect of this role is providing person-centered care, respecting residents' rights and choices.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, trustworthy, and reliable. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to build rapport quickly, and be flexible in your work schedule. A DBS check will be required, but we will cover the initial cost.
