Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) policies, frameworks, and guidelines across the organization.
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities for GRC stakeholders, including the board of directors, CEO, CRO, and business unit managers.
- Ensure alignment of GRC with business objectives and strategies.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Monitor and report on risk exposure and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with business unit managers to integrate risk management into daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations, standards, and laws.
- Develop and maintain compliance programs and procedures.
- Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
- Monitor and report on compliance status and identify areas for improvement.
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager with expertise in GRC, ideally within capital markets with knowledge of the Crypto / Digital Asset sector. The ideal candidate will have a background in running risk assessments and working with Senior Leadership to report effectiveness of Risk Measures, recommend strategies to mitigate Risk, and training of staff. Proven knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FCA, AMF, BMA, MICA, DORA, GDPR, and security governance is essential. The ability to engage across all layers of a business both domestically and internationally is crucial. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and apply project management methodology are required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of GRC principles and practices, as well as experience in risk management and compliance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing GRC policies, frameworks, and guidelines across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies. You will also be responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks across the organization, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and controls, and monitoring and reporting on risk exposure and compliance with regulations.
