As a Care Coordinator with our NHS team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals across Whitehaven and Copeland to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence to withstand future life challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to join our new 24/7 Community Mental Health Support Hub, which will transform the way mental health care is provided locally.

You will provide a safe and welcoming environment for all clients, using de-escalation skills, active listening and calm communication. To support the person to maintain good mental health and wellbeing, whilst liaising with appropriate services.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working 1:1 with service users with complex needs and be familiar with health, social care or VCSE systems. You will also possess demonstrable experience of receiving supervision in a similar role and have a strong understanding of challenges and barriers in accessing services.

This is a full-time position, and as such, it is essential that you live locally to Whitehaven and are able to travel across Copeland. The salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, with opportunities for career progression.
