Welcome to 1st Executive's Public Sector Commercial Services division, where this role plays a crucial part in our operations. Our division has undergone significant changes since 2020, introducing new pillars that oversee the entire commercial life cycle, from sourcing to delivery.

This Commercial Officer role is responsible for supporting Income Management across the Commercial Services team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the commercial life cycle, including contract negotiations and revenue generation.

Role Overview:

Estimated salary: £38,000

Location: West Brompton, London (2 days in office)

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with stakeholders and senior managers to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Autonomy is key in this role; you will implement policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Your exceptional customer service skills will enable you to handle complex enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • You should have excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Being commercially astute and experienced in value for money principles is essential for success in this role.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a commercial or finance function is required, or equivalent experience in applying value for money principles.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and procurement methods, income generation, and public sector processes is necessary.
  • Implementing contracts, managing risks, and understanding brand protection are critical aspects of this position.
