About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Nairn & Ardersier Social Care Team. This is a permanent, full-time position of 37 hours per week based at Nairn Town & County Hospital.
The post is interesting and varied in nature, providing an Adult Social Work service across the Nairn area. The Team is busy but supportive, and we are looking for a qualified individual who can work autonomously but also effectively as part of a social work team and wider integrated team to deliver safe and effective social work practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of essential statutory functions
- Working with individuals, families, carers, and wider communities to complete person-centred outcome-focused assessments
- Dealing with and managing complex situations and risk
- Working effectively in a multi-disciplinary way
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic practitioner with experience of working with people with a wide range of needs
- Person-centred and outcome-focused approach
- Good working knowledge of Adult Support and Protection
