Administrative Support Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in fleet administration? We are seeking an Apprentice Fleet Administrator to join our team and support our fleet management operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including scheduling, maintenance tracking, and compliance with safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Process fines and penalties associated with vehicle usage
- Coordinate the delivery and return of vehicles, including new hires and end-of-lease vehicles
- Monitor MOT deadlines and ensure driver compliance
- Manage accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring timely collection and return by insurers
- Arrange for rental vehicles as needed
- Issue and replace fuel cards
- Facilitate driving license checks for new hires
- Respond to fleet-related inquiries and escalate when necessary
- Coordinate tracker installations and removals
- Maintain the MID database and update information as needed
- Ensure all processes and deadlines are met through follow-up and escalation
- Participate in team meetings and follow up on required actions
- Support the Fleet Administration Manager with ongoing projects and process implementation
- Monitor the department mailbox and respond to queries
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills

- Proficiency in MS packages
- English and Maths GCSE qualifications
