Financial Bookkeeper

Accounts Assistant Role Overview
This role is designed to provide day-to-day financial bookkeeping to the company, working closely with the Head of Business Operations to maintain and update project-related financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project-related financial records
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage monthly payroll and ensure compliance with relevant UK regulations
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Manage payments and bank account transactions
- Maintain and develop finance-driven processes
- Assist in setting up a new ERP financial system
Requirements
- Previous UK-based experience in a finance role
- Finance bookkeeping qualification such as ACCA or similar
- Good understanding of UK accounting principles
- Experience of providing payroll data to a payroll provider
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong professional communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant finance software applications

The client is unable to offer sponsorship support for this role, and so you must have unrestricted right to work in the UK and live local to the office to get there 5 days a week.
