About the Role

BTA is seeking a Global Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 28 hours per week. The successful candidate will oversee the financial operations of both BTA's UK and overseas offices, ensuring financial sustainability.

The Benefits

- Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (pro rata)
- Pension provision with a minimum of 5% employer contribution (increasing with service)
- 26 days of annual leave (pro rata), in addition to public holidays

The Role

As the Global Finance Manager, you will lead financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management and financial reporting, while working closely with key stakeholders such as the CEO, Country Directors and Director of International Development. You will also oversee bookkeeping for BTA's UK office and manage consolidated financial accounts from overseas offices.

About You

To be considered as a Global Finance Manager, you will need:

  1. A professional accounting qualification with significant experience in financial management
  2. Experience managing financial operations across multiple countries
  3. Experience with bookkeeping, particularly in small teams
  4. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-cultural teams
  5. Strong knowledge of charity accounting, audit processes, and statutory requirements
  6. Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
