About the Role

The Global Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of both our client's UK and overseas offices, ensuring financial sustainability. This includes leading financial operations, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting, while working closely with key stakeholders such as the CEO, Country Directors, and Director of International Development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the annual audit process
  • Supporting and supervising finance staff in overseas offices
  • Providing capacity-building support to improve financial management
  • Contributing to long-term financial planning and strategic decision-making

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A professional accounting qualification with significant experience in financial management
  • Experience managing financial operations across multiple countries
  • Experience with bookkeeping, particularly in small teams
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-cultural teams
  • Strong knowledge of charity accounting, audit processes, and statutory requirements
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software

The Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (pro rata), pension provision with a minimum of 5% employer contribution (increasing with service), 26 days of annual leave (pro rata), and a commitment to ongoing training and development opportunities.
