About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Clinical Support Services Division at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to progress their career in the NHS.

The successful candidate will support the Deputy and Divisional Head of Finance in providing a comprehensive finance business partnering role to the directorates within the division, including:

  1. Developing business cases for strategic initiatives
  2. Supporting budget setting and financial reporting processes
  3. Providing value through financial advice and challenge

The post holder will build strong relationships with a Clinical Directorate team to help them develop and realise their strategic aims.

This role requires a high level of expertise in finance, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make a significant contribution to the finance function's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Planning and coordinating development of the annual budget for the division
  2. Preparing and presenting financial reports, forecasts, costings, and business cases
  3. Working closely with the Deputy and Head of Divisional Finance and fellow Finance Business Partners to ensure the finance function makes an influential contribution to the Division's managerial and business objectives

The post holder will also be responsible for deputising for the Deputy Head of Divisional Finance when required.
