Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing day-to-day financial bookkeeping to the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating project-related financial records, processing invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner, and managing monthly payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project-related financial records
  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manage monthly payroll and ensure compliance with relevant UK regulations
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Manage payments and bank account transactions
  • Maintain and develop finance-driven processes
  • Assist in setting up a new ERP financial system

Requirements

  • Previous UK-based experience in a finance role
  • Finance bookkeeping qualification such as ACCA or similar
  • Good understanding of UK accounting principles
  • Experience of providing payroll data to a payroll provider
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong professional communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant finance software applications
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
