About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Housekeeper to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of housekeeping staff in cleaning designated areas to the highest possible standard
  • Review and implement cleaning schedules to meet the needs of our patients and staff
  • Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines and regulations
  • Manage stock levels and replenish janitorial products as needed
  • Operate a documented housekeeping program that is auditable

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of cleaning industry standards and health and safety regulations
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
