All Saints Hotel is a leading hospitality provider, renowned for its exceptional service and high standards of excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping Team.
Job Summary
The Deputy Head Housekeeper will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Housekeeper in overseeing all daily operations within housekeeping. This includes providing leadership, support, and motivation to the team, ensuring the maintenance of our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Housekeeper in leading the Housekeeping Team, ensuring seamless daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Train and develop housekeeping staff to comply with All Saints Hotel's standards, including health and safety, security, technical, and behavioral protocols.
- Manage health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and guests.
- Coordinate room allocations, stock control, and ordering to maintain efficient operations.
- Conduct regular room checks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Head Housekeeper and other departments to develop a positive working environment and address any guest issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a management capacity within the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4-star hotel or resort.
- Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate the Housekeeping Team.
- Knowledge of housekeeping, health, and safety procedures, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A positive can-do attitude, with a hands-on approach to supporting the frontline team and potentially cleaning rooms.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
